Second Half of 2022 Goals

It’s July 2022. I didn’t achieve all my goals for this year’s first half, but I did learn many things. This is why I’m writing a list for my second half of 2022 goals!

Even though I didn’t achieve most of my money goals for the first half of 2022, it was a first half full of memories and learnings. Things like that make me remain positive in achieving my other goals because I know deep down all the good stuff are coming my way. And you should know the same about yourself!

Here are some of the things I learned from January to June:

  • Staying grateful for the small things can open doors you won’t imagine.
  • Finding yourself is better than getting all the money you asked for.
  • Once you find your true self and live with purpose, all your goals will happen, one after the other.
  • It’s okay to feel stuck, it’ll help you find who you indeed are.

I know they aren’t the greatest learnings. However, these little things have helped me a lot through my mental health journey.

Now, let’s get into it! Here you have my second half of 2022 goals.

Work

  • To stop teaching and dedicate my attention to my job as a Director and my Blog by November 2022

I won’t lie. I love teaching. Being in touch with my students is my favorite part of my job. However, it’s a draining job, and it doesn’t pay as much as it should where I live. That’s why my goal for this second half is to be able to grow my blog to the point that I don’t have to take more teaching jobs so I can get “to the end of the month”.

Growing my blog has been my goal since the beginning of the year, and because Impostor Syndrome kicks in whenever I’m getting closer to my goal, I haven’t gotten it. Which is why I’m trying my best to stay consistent with the content I create.

I want to make this blog a living, and I’ll do whatever it takes to manifest it!

Mental Health

*TW* If mental health topics trigger your anxiety or any other situation, please feel free to keep scrolling until Personal Care.

  • To dedicate more time to my mental health

Because my job drains most of my energy, I’ve neglected my mental health.

*TW* I was on medication because of my anxiety and depression. Those days were hard to overcome, so the fact that I’ve been ignoring my rituals and having too many anxiety attacks scares me.

So no matter how many things I’ve got to do, my morning and night routines will be untouchable. My mental health is and will always be my priority.

  • To heal my relationship with food

You know that “I eat too much, then I feel guilty and don’t eat at all, then binge eats again because I’m too hungry”… Yep, that’s me.

I need to heal my relationship with food and stop feeling guilty for what I eat. This is a process, I know, and I might need help from my therapist again. But, I know it’s something I’ll heal from. Eating healthy, but balanced is on the bucket list.

Personal Care

  • To lose 40 pounds by December 2022

You may think I’m alright by the pictures you see. However, I miss the person I was, and with it was a girl who was confident in her skin (after therapy of course)! My clothes won’t fit, and I nearly cry every time I see myself in the mirror.

And that’s something I’m tired of…

I’m going to work on myself.  And I’m going to lose those pounds and start living the healthy life I deserve. Because I know I deserve to be healthy, happy, and living life to its fullest!

  • To have flawless skin by October 2022

Another thing I’ve neglected is my skincare.

Sometimes I’m too tired or wake up too late to do my routine… and, ugh! I just hate feeling like I’m ignoring myself and putting other people’s needs and dreams ahead of mine… And that must STOP NOW!

Don’t get me wrong… I’m patient with myself and try to live slow and to my own speed. It’s just that sometimes I forget I’m the only one who will always be by my side and won’t do the things that bring me joy.

Finance

  • Y’all know I mentioned making money with my blog… Well that, by December 2022.

I have a plan, and I’m manifesting that plan… DO YOU HEAR ME UNIVERSE?!

So by the end of 2022, I should be making 4 digits (in USA dollars, not my currency) and investing in some other projects that’ll create the lifestyle of my dreams. Y’all know, that CEO vibe we’re looking for. ( ;D )

Final thoughts

You know I’m all about helping and guiding you, which is why it’s kind of weird for me to be so personal in a blog post. However, I felt like I needed to let all that out and let you know that it’s okay to change your goals. And it’s also okay to feel lost or stuck because it’s part of your process to find yourself.

You have no idea how happy I am after sharing this piece of me with you. I hope this helped as an inspiration to start putting yourself first, to write your own goals, and do whatever it takes to achieve that dream.
